SolarVision 2025: Ernst and Young will present its view of the opportunities and challenges for the Canadian Solar industry over the next 15 years in terms of all technologies – solar PV, solar thermal and solar air. This strategic plan will propose strategies for both the industry and governments as we look forward to a sunnier future.
Plenary 1: The CEOs panel
It’s been a busy year for the solar industry in Canada. The country seems to be coming out of its recession – but will that be helped by an increased presence of renewable energy technologies? No new or increased incentives have been extended to the solar thermal industry and this has made it a very tough year. For the PV industry, it has been all about Ontario – and what is the reality of that. This panel of Canadian CEOs will comment on Solarvision 2025 and look and other questions. They will review 2010 – the year that is almost finished as well as look into their crystal balls to tell us what they expect in 2010.
